Who I am and What I do

Pioneer / Entrepreneur – I have been involved in the start up of many ministry expressions giving opportunity for others to “Creatively Serve the World”, share the love of God, and the message of the gospel. I am constantly thinking in terms of what “we” can do next.
Administrator – I oversee missionary recruiting and training, U.S. staff (bookkeeper and office manager), non profit corporations in the U.S. and Canada, our communication strategy via our website, email, social networking (Facebook, Twitter), and several blogs. I fund raise for the A.M. general fund, locations, and projects. I coordinate resources and communication within our mission co-operative. I personally oversee and participate in the Dwellings home building ministry.
Ministry Coach – Via personal visits, email, phone conversations, writing, and teaching opportunities I “coach” missionaries inside and outside Alternative Missions.

What you can do

Pray – For opportunities for me to continue doing what I do and the ability to do it well. Via email, Facebook and our website you can be current on what we are doing in all our locations and pray for the many details that come up.
Go – Join me on a mission trip to learn how you can make a difference in the lives of others. Contact me to schedule a personal trip or to send a team to one of our operating locations.
Give – Alternative Missions does not pay us a “salary”. Linnea and I are supported by people who believe in us and what we do. Please pray about supporting us via Egiving online or by mailing a donation check to Alternative Missions.
